Resumen : The term transmedia was initially used by Marsha Kinder (1991:40) to refer to the intertextuality among films, animation, TV series and toys for children. Henry Jenkins also participated with a chapter on that publication that he later on developed farther as the term “narrative transmedia” on Media Convergence (2006) and more recently on http://henryjenkins.org (2007, 2011,2013). The present research analyzes the application of narrative elements and media characteristics used for generating independent, edutainment transmedia products, and an analysis of the Batman’s universe generated by its comics, films, webs, fans video, and videogames. The goal was to develop a transmedia original model of analysis to study and conclude how the narrative elements of the actions, characters, spaces and times are converged with coherence and intelligibility to generate the Batman Universe; and how they engage the fans to generate emerging linear and circular interactive narratives.
